New Nutritional Practitioner at Lowbourne Osteopaths
Nicole is a holistic nutritionist who works on a one-to-one basis to customise your diet and lifestyle, tailored to you as an individual.
Nicole trained as a nutritional practitioner at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Toronto, Canada. She is a former chef and is passionate about creating delicious and healthy meals.
The goal of all holistic nutritionists is to "catch health".Nutritionists help guide people toward optimum health so they get sick less and with less serious afflictions. By seeking areas of imbalance related to the root cause of health issues, a customized plan can be developed. Nutritionists educate individuals about the use of supplements and lifestyle changes, encouraging that they eat healthfully, exercise and generally take better care of their bodies. They are trained in human anatomy and physiology, biochemistry, the psychology of disease, therapeutic implementation of supplements and more. Fundamentally, there is the understanding that one size does not fit all in any are of health since everyone is an individual with a unique set of circumstances.
Nutritionists can help with PMS, stress, anxiety, allergies, asthma, diabetes, weight loss, inflammation, digestive issues, autoimmune disease and pre/post-natal nutrition.
Your individualised assessment and lifestyle plan
Nicole begins by assessing the client to provide a clear picture of emotional and physical health, environment and daily eating habits, gaining insight into the client’s vitamin, mineral and hormone balance. After the initial consultation, a follow up appointment is made to receive an individualised plan with diet and lifestyle recommendations and recipes to help the client achieve their personal goals.
Whether you're experiencing digestive issues, impaired blood-sugar management, asthma, anxiety, allergies or you just want tips on eating better for you and your family, Nicole can work on a plan that fits your needs.
