Knee injury

With many people turning to sport to keep fit and healthy, sports injuries are becoming increasingly common. At Lowbourne Osteopaths we see most minor sports injuries as well as advise on ways to improve performance.

Osteopaths have diagnostic and palpatory skills to identify the tissue that is injured.  Techniques are chosen to suit the individual in order to restore ease of movement. Advice is given to help prevent further injury.

Muscle and pelvic imbalances, poor posture and altered neck or spinal mechanics can lead to the following:

  • Shoulder problems
  • Tennis or golfers elbow
  • Ligament sprains/muscle strains
  • Knee or hip pain
  • Joint pain

We have supported amateur and professional sports men and women from many areas of sport including football, rugby, equestrian, golf, gymnastics, weight training and keep-fit enthusiasts.
